5 Civil Engineering Scholarships!

Are you interested in receiving money for your passion in Civil Engineering and achievements? There are many scholarship opportunities to earn financial aid for people who want to pursue higher education. Below I have provided a few, so feel free to apply as possible!


This award can be obtained by college students who are enrolled in civil engineering or a similar program and who are members of the ASCE Student Chapter. A completed application form, a personal statement, a detailed annual budget, an official transcript, a resume, and at least two letters of recommendation will have to be submitted. The amount of money varies annually and will be decided by the committee.

  • Eligibility: College student

  • Deadline: February 10, 2021

The scholarship is sponsored by Toyota and awards $2,500. However, it’s important to note that preference will be given to students who live in Southern California. Civil engineering majors are welcome to apply. But, this scholarship is open to all STEM majors. Applicants must meet a number of criteria: be the first in your family to attend college, be a part of your community, have demonstrated leadership, maintained a 2.7 GPA or higher, enrolled in college in the next year as a freshman, demonstrated financial need, and not have a parent employed with Toyota.

  • Eligibility: Asian and/or Pacific Islander undergraduate student

  • Deadline: January 14, 2021

The $2000 PixelPlex Bi-Annual Scholarship was established to help support students pursuing education in the fields of STEM, as well as economics and business. To be considered for the scholarship award, you must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident. You should be enrolled or accepted with plans to attend a college or university in the United States and write an essay on one of two prompts.

  • Eligibility: High school senior or college student

  • Deadline: varies

Winners of this award receive $1,000. Applicants must be a high school senior who is considering a college degree in a transportation-related field such as civil engineering, math, urban planning, geography, economics, or public policy.

  • Eligibility: High school senior

  • Deadline: November 12, 2021

One student will be awarded with $750. You need to attend Albuquerque High School and demonstrate financial need and will plan to attend a college or university in pursuit of a degree in one of the STEM majors. A minimum 3.6 GPA is needed.

  • Deadline: March 6, 2021
